In Nigeria, we are aware of the fact that One’s home is a reflection of one’s success and achievements in whatever chosen occupation/profession and “Entertainment” is most definitely not exempted. So every Nigerian celebrity have a dream of acquiring their own multi-million naira mansion and to have this dream come true is usually a long time life goal. We have got some of the Nigerian celebrities whom their houses in Nigeria will definitely drop your jaw.
1. Tunde and Wunmi Obe (T.W.O)
When we talk about one of the richest couples in the Entertainment Industry, Tunde and Wunmi Obe would be named first as they are not only rich but are also the oldest couple when it comes to years of Marriage. The both of them who have being making music for quite some time now were both given birth to with silver spoons, and when i say “Silver Spoons”, I don’t mean the literal idiom “Silver Spoon”, I’m talking of the silver spoon that is “diamond encrusted”, you catch my drift ? Lol. That privilege sort of gave them a head start.
Tunde and Wunmi Obe, who are said to be the Industry’s most popular celebrity couple have carved a niche for themselves with their peculiar type of music. The couples met in UNILAG in 1988 and dated for 10 years before they actually got married. Mr Tunde Obe is the son of a late Ambassador, while his wife, Wunmi, who owns a beauty business, is the duaghter of late Punch founder Olu Aboderin.
The both of them have a tremendous mansion located in the Lagos metropolis which reportedly costs about N400Million. The mansion, built for over six years, according to a source close to the couple, sits on over two plots, with facilities including a swimming pool customized with their acronym T.W.O in it, an audio visual studio, bar and lounge, guest chalet, patio, gym, Sauna, basketball court and conference/meeting rooms.
2. Genevieve Nnaji
Movie screen veteran, Genevieve is one of the most highly respected actresses in the Nigerian Entertainment industry. The 35 year-old mild actress is one of the very few actresses who actually own their own mansion.
The mansion reportedly costs N220million, and is located in Park View Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos.
3. David Adeleke a.k.a Davido (O.B.O)
David Adeleke popularly known with his stage name, Davido is one of the most hardworking and most popular musician in the country today. He is the son of Billionaire, Adedeji Adeleke who came into Stardom when he dropped his first studio track “Back When” and released the hit song “Dami Duro” in 2011.
Davido has made quite a fortune from his music and also boasts of his own self acquired Mansion. One time when he spoke about his Mansion, he said he recalls how small his room was in school (Babcock University) compared to his mansion home which only took him 2 years of his hard work to acquire.
The mansion which is located in an exquisite area of Lagos State, Lekki, costs about N140Million.
4. Peter and Paul Okoye a.k.a P-Square Duo
The P-Square brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye have come a long way to become what they are in the Entertainment Industry today. After years of hardwork and making good music, the duo can boast of 3 Square Ville Mansions.
They reportedly have more other mansions in other parts of Nigeria, and reports also have it that the duo’s Mansion in San Fransisco, U.S costs about $2,750,000 (N434,500,000). The US housing system supports mortgage system payment, so they probably may be paying up in a gradual process. They’re made twin men.
5. Michael Collins a.k.a Don Jazzy
Michael Collins mostly referred to as Don Jazzy is one of the most highly respected musicians in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry today. From the time of being a member of JJC’s Backbone Music group in the U.K down to owning his own record label, Supreme Mavin Dynasty SMD which has some of Nigeria’s biggest acts signed under it.
Don Jazzy is one of the country’s most prolific music producers and he is no doubt, one of the most influential Producers in the continent, and he has a mansion of his own which he acquire since 2012 for over N160Million.
6. Timaya (The Plantain Seller) Egberi Papa One of Bayelsa
Like he always remind all his fans, he’s still that “Plantain Sellers seen in one of these photos, Timaya poses by his mansion with a plantain on his hand signifying that he is still that hustler that used to sell plantain on the streets of Bayelsa.
Enetimi Alfred Odom is an indigene of Bayelsa State, a state close to PH City, the capital of Rivers State. The artistes chose to build his homes in Port Harcourt probably because of a better return on investment and because of his attachment to the famous Garden City having grown there.
The singer reportedly owns two mansions in Port-Harcourt and has only flaunted one of them recently.
He acquired the first mansion in December 2011 and acquired the second one 3 years later.
7. Ini (Obong) Edo
Delectable Nollywood actress, Ini Edo is one of the few females who has made our list. She is a talented actress who has come a long way in Nollywood and has definitely made a name for herself.
Just in 2014, the beautiful actress acquired her mansion in Lekki and celebrated a house-warming event where she had several a-list celebrities in attendance, across the country like Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Funke Akindele, 2Face Idibia among others.
She’s got a very nice taste though.
8. Daniella Okeke
Daniella became famous when she starred as “Joke” in Lagos Cougars, in 2013, a role that earned her the Best Actress in a Leading Role nomination at both the 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards and 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. When naming fashionable females in the country, Daniella Okeke, without any doubt will be mentioned almost all the times.

9. Dr. SID
MAVIN’s longtime loyal recording artist, Dr. Sid who just finished his program at the New York Film Academy is one of the entertainers on our list who can proudly say he owns a mansion of his own although he revealed that he didn’t pay out-rightly for his home as it was acquired via mortgage.
Most celebrities acquire their homes in Mortgage but do not reveal it, but Sidney Onoriode Esiri admitted that he acquired his mansion and paid for the mortgage monthly. According to him; “I put a mortgage payment plan in place, based on the savings I had made four years before I started a career in music. I am still paying for the house. And by the grace of God, I will get a second one soon. I pay close to N1m a month and sometimes, more. I am going to do this for the next 25 years and I am not ashamed to say it.”
10. Wasiu Ayinde Adewale (KWAM 1)
Ladies and Gentlemen, we come to the last celebrity on our list and it is none other than Wasiu Ayinde Adewale Omogbolahan Anifowoshe, who was brought to planet earth on the 3rd of March 1957 in Agarawu, Lagos Island. K1 The Ultimate kick started his music career after he lost his father when he was just 13 years old, he released his first album in 1980.
The Ijebu mansion which is popularly called Omoojusagbola, was completed in March 2012 when he celebrated his 55th birthday.
